Marc Bellanger

His career

From 1987 to 2001, he lectured at the Université de Paris in Tax Law, General Administrative Law, Town Planning Law and Administrative litigation. From 1991 to 2001, he was an advising lawyer for barristers before the civil and administrative courts of final appeal. From 2001 to 2004, Marc Bellanger worked as a sole practitioner. Following an honours degree in Public Law, a post-graduate diploma (DEA) in Domestic Public Law and a DEA in Public International Law, he was admitted to the Paris Bar in 1996 and obtained the Paris Bar’s Specialisation Certificate in Public Law in 1997. He was also laureate of the Charles Rousseau international law competition in 1988.

In addition

He has published articles, such as on the “Right to Strike”, AJDA 1997. He has organised seminars and conferences: in 2001 in particular, he chaired a colloquium on Parisian town planning with Jean-Patrick Delmotte from the Senate. He is a professor at “Ecole Spéciale des Travaux Publics” in Paris (ESTP Special School for Public Works) where he has been lecturing since 1992, and also lectures in town planning law at “Ecole Supérieure des Professions Immobilières” in Paris (ESPI - Senior School for the Real-Estate Professions).

For many years he was a member of the non-profit group “Droits d’urgence” (“Emergency Laws”) and a volunteer on call for “le Bus des Femmes” (“The Women’s Bus”). At present he is an occasional consultant.
